Joseph Aguilar Commits to Men’s Soccer!
Joseph Aguilar, goalkeeper from Global Outreach Charter Academy and Lonestar High School, has officially signed with men's soccer! The Jacksonville native will join the team as a freshman this fall.
Aguilar has spent his career perfecting his skills both as a goalkeeper and a left back. He has consistently been a reliable last line of defense for his teams throughout his high school career. His versatility and work ethic made him a key player on the field, and now he brings that with him to Trinity!
Aguilar's decision to attend Trinity Bible College was shaped by more than just athletics. "I chose Trinity because it will help me grow my walk with Jesus and not separate from Him," Aguilar has deep involvement in church ministry, from a young age. He is dedicated not only to competition but also to serving others, and his spiritual growth. This is a true reflection of what Trinity as an institution wants from our athletes. We are very excited to add another great student athlete like Joseph!
Head Coach Daniel Hawker expressed his excitement about Aguilar's commitment stating: "Joseph is a great addition to the roster! His experience in goal will make a huge difference as we continue to build the program. A solid goalkeeper is the foundation of every defense and Joseph will play a pivotal role for us alongside a handful of other new signings and returning players. In addition to his abilities on the field, Joseph is a great guy! I've been very impressed by how he carries himself. He embodies our program's values and will fit right in with the other players. His skill, experience, work ethic and character are a welcome addition going into the pre-season.
We are excited to see Joseph on the field and on campus this fall!
