Jazmin Parrill Commits to Women's Basketball!
Jazmin Parill has committed to Trinity Bible College for women's basketball! Jazmin is a 5 '6 small forward, from Mount Pleasant, Pennsylvania. Jazmin Graduated from Mount Carmel Christian School, and this past year went to Penn State Fayette. Over the years Jazmin has received individual accolades such as Academic All-Conference (2 times), John Fritz Sportsmanship Award, and MVP of the Bible Baptist March Madness Tournament!
When asked why she chose Trinity Bible College she stated: "I chose to transfer to Trinity because I believe this is where God is leading me. I'm excited to grow in my faith and be a part of a close-knit community. My mother also attended Trinity, which makes this journey even more special. I'm also looking forward to continuing my basketball journey under Coach Rachael Nowell, who has been incredibly kind and supportive throughout this decision-making process."
We are excited to add another athlete to our institution who is ready to build on their athletic career and grow in her faith! Our mission here at Trinity is to equip individuals with theological reflection and missional passion to effectively share the gospel and demonstrate God's love. Jazmin is someone who will contribute to that!
In the words of Head Coach Rachael Nowell: "I met Jazmin through a former Trinity Bible College women's basketball player who is coaching at Mount Carmel Christian High School in Pennsylvania. It's always a joy to be able to have your former players send athletes to Trinity! I am excited for Jazmin to get plugged into Trinity's campus and join our team. She is the kind of athlete that will go the extra mile to do anything a coach tasks her with! She has had experience playing all positions on the court and is willing to jump in and learn our systems as quickly as possible. I appreciate Jazmin's team attitude, hard work ethic and Christ-like character! Thank you Jazmin for choosing to be a part of Trinity women's basketball!
