Ledgerwood's high school career has been marked by impressive accomplishments, including two selections to the Southwestern All-Star Game, an honor she has earned for her dedication and skill on the court. Additionally, Ledgerwood helped lead her team to the 2024 Montana Class B State Tournament.
The Ennis standout has also been recognized for her consistent excellence with two selections to the Second Team All-Conference in her career. These accolades are a testament to Ledgerwood's talent, work ethic, and impact on the game, as she has long been a key player for her team.
When asked why she chose Trinity Bible College, Ledgerwood shared, "I chose Trinity because of the community atmosphere. I also love the direction of where God is leading Trinity. God has also blessed me to be able to play with my sister again, and I would get to do that at Trinity!" Mikendra will join her sister, Junior forward Marlyssa Ledgerwood!
In the words of head coach Rachael Nowell "Our coaching staff was extremely excited when Mikendra Ledgerwood decided to commit to Trinity! She is an outstanding fit for our Trinity community and we know she will excel here! Athletically, Mikendra adds some much needed guard strength to our team. She is a crafty player on both sides of the ball. Mikendra is tough on defense and plays scrappy. She is strong with the ball, finishes well and can shoot the three! We are elated to see her game live next year as a Lion! Thank you Mikendra for choosing Trinity!"
We are excited to add Mikendra to our Trinity Community, and we cannot wait to see her on the basketball court next season!
