Volleyball to Play in ACCA National Tournament
Lady Lions are apart of a four team field to compete for a championship
The Lady Lions are traveling all the way to Joplin, MO to compete in the Association of Christian College Athletics national tournament.
The Lady Lions could play up to 5 games this weekend. They will play back-to-back on Thursday, the 8th and they will play at 2:45 against Ozark Christian College. The Lions and Ozark have played once this year with the Lions winning 3-1 on September 1st. The Lions then at 4:30 will play against Southwestern Adventist University. The Lions will come back on Friday and play at 9am, against Arlington Baptist College. Depending on how the games go the Lady Lions will then either play at 12:30 or 2:15. If the Lions win their playoff game then they would move on to the championship at 4 pm.
Camryn Shockley leads the Lady Lions in kills with 158, which come out to two per set. Kennedy Nofziger led the Lions in assist with 255. Madison Pennington has 32 aces, which paces the Lions. Abreena Knudsen has 225 digs, which is the most for the Lady Lions. Kayla Barnett leads the Lions with 31 total blocks on the season.
