Men's Lions Basketball Team Signs Elvis Perez
The Trinity Bible College Lions men's basketball team is excited to welcome Elvis Perez to the 2020-2021 team. Perez is a 5'11" guard from Orlando, Florida. He completed his high school education at Central Pointe Christian Academy and is transferring to TBC from Holy Family College.
Perez's offensive statistics prove that he will be a great asset for the Lions this year. He was the leading scorer on his team in both the 2015-2016 and 2017-2018 seasons. He finished this last season with an impressive 45% shooting percentage from the three-point line.
When asked why he chose Trinity Bible College, Perez replied, "I chose to attend Trinity Bible College because of the friendly atmosphere and to get closer with God during my college years. Another reason I chose Trinity is because of the small setting." Perez plans to major in Physical Education while attending Trinity Bible College.
Coach Jordan Nowell is excited for the addition of Perez. "I can't wait to add Elvis to the team this year! He's a tremendous shooter that is going to fit right in. We broke the team record last year for three's made in a season and Elvis is going to help stretch the defense even more! Elvis is going to have a great year for us!"
