Season Update
The Trinity Bible College men's and women's cross country teams have just completed their second meet of the 2019 season, and they have already seen great success. Their first meet was on Saturday, September 7th at South Dakota School of Mines & Tech. Both teams had a great first showing. The women's team even qualified one of their seniors, Chloe Jacob, for the NCCAA Nationals.
The Lions' second meet took place on Friday, September 13th at South Dakota State University. Although the course was filled with water puddles and mud due to the large amounts of rain, the teams made great improvements in their racing times. Nearly every TBC athlete improved their time from the previous meet. The men's team also qualified Sam Jacob, a senior, for the NCCAA Nationals.
Coach Thurber has this to say about the season thus far, "Our team has been working hard to get into top shape for the season and we've already seen some large gains from our first to second meets."
