Cross Country at Ron Pynn Invitational
The Trinity Bible College cross country teams made a great appearance at the Ron Pynn Invitational at the University of North Dakota on Saturday, October 19th. After two weeks of practice, they were ready to compete and improve their times once again.

Staley, a senior, improved his time to 37:16.20 to keep his position as the fourth best time for the TBC men's team. Liebe, a junior, made his way to the top five for the Lions men's team with his personal best time of 37:56.10. Sam Jacob remains the leader of the men's team, followed by Luke Jacob and Kaleb Renfro.
The women's team also saw great success at the meet. Chloe Jacob improved her time once again to beat the Trinity Bible College school record for the fastest women's 5k. She now holds the record with a time of 20:54.4. Chloe also earned the honor of being named the NCCAA Student Athlete of the Week for the DII women's cross country division. Kersten Lucas remains second for the women's team, followed by Arianna Bigart who improved her time to 26:06.6.
In the words of Coach Thurber, "This year's course at UND was extremely muddy, but we were happy to see four of our runners run their best times for the season. I was also so happy to see Chloe break the school record. Despite the tough conditions, she pulled off a record breaking race. Happy mom and happy coach!"
