Khalil Bolden Receives 1st Team All-American Award
Khalil Bolden received the incredible honor of being named 1st Team All-American in the NCCAA DII Men's Basketball Division for the 2020-2021 season.
Bolden has led his team both defensively and offensively with his athleticism and knowledge for the game. He finished the season leading the TBC Lions in total points scored (573), assists (206), and steals (93). These impressive stats also have Bolden leading nationally in the NCCAA DII Men's Division as the top athlete in both assists and steals.
Bolden now holds the Trinity Bible College Lions record for most assists in a season (206) as well as most assists in a single game. At the ACCA National Tournament, Bolden gave out 15 assists during the upset win over Kansas Christian College in the second round of the tournament.
Earlier in the season, Bolden also reached an incredible milestone in his basketball career. Still being in his junior season, Bolden joined the 1000th Point Club. With this season at an end, Bolden's total career points are now at 1,319.
Among his other many accomplishments this season, Khalil Bolden also earned the Student-Athlete of the Week, 1st Team All-Region, North Region MVP, and 1st Team ACCA All-American.
