Coach Jordan Nowell had this to say about Bolden's accomplishment, "Khalil is a special individual on and off the court! His smile and passion is next level. He's put in so many hours to eclipse this milestone! Scoring 1,000 points in a career is special, and he was able to do it in two and a half seasons! He's developed into a tremendous all around basketball player. His energy and drive is second to none and I am so blessed to be able to coach him!"
