Men's Basketball Signs Jacob King!
We are pleased to announce Jacob King is committed to Men's basketball for the upcoming 2024-25 Season. Jacob, from Hazleton, Iowa, has made a significant decision in his basketball career by committing to Trinity Bible College. Jacob is coming to us from Cornell College, a Division Three school in Iowa. Jacob is a standout both athletically and academically. Jacob was recognized multiple times as a member of the All-Midwest Conference Academic Team. While in high school he was named to the first-team all-conference and first-team all-district teams. Jacob also led the conference in scoring at 21 points per game, while shooting a tremendous 92.6% from the free throw line which led the entire state of Iowa!
When asked why he chose Trinity Bible College Jacob had this to say, "I felt like this was the place to be after visiting and playing with some of the returning players. Everyone was very welcoming and I believe Coach Nowell has built a great basketball culture here. Also, my grandparents live in Eureka, South Dakota which is only about an hour away. I'll be able to be very close to my family!"
In the words of Head Coach Jordan Nowell, he said, "Jacob is going to be a great addition to our team! He is a great shooter, but more importantly, he's a great person that understands the game. I've really enjoyed getting to know him over the last couple of months. Jacob will make a big contribution on both ends of the court for us. I'm excited to see what he can accomplish for our team in the fall!"
