Mason has officially committed to joining the Trinity Bible College Men's Basketball team for the upcoming 2024-25 basketball season. This signing marks a significant milestone in the Bates' career and will bolster the Lions' roster with fresh talent and enthusiasm.
Mason has been a formidable presence on the court throughout his high school career. With impressive stats and a strong work ethic. Mason was a 2x 1st Team All-League, All-State Honorable Mention, Big Sky League MVP, and 1,000 Point Club!
When asked why he chose Trinity Mason had this to say "I chose Trinity for a number of reasons. One was when I came to visit the campus, and meet my potential future teammates, I felt a good connection and vibe. I also really like Coach Nowell, right away. I felt like we related on a lot of things, and I could tell he genuinely cares about his players. Also, with Trinity being a Christ-centered college, it made my decision even easier!"
Head Coach Jordan Nowell had this to say about Signing Bates "I'm really excited to add a basketball player of Mason's Caliber to our team this fall! He will have a chance to come in and contribute right away because of his competitiveness, work ethic, and ability to score. I've enjoyed getting to know Mason throughout the recruiting process. He will definitely raise the bar as it pertains to the quality of the team during practices and games. I can't wait to get him on the court this fall!
Welcome to the TBC Lions family Mason! We are very excited to see what God has in store for Mason during his time here at Trinity Bible College and Graduate School.
