
Lions Volleyball Takes the Sweep Against FLBC on their Homecoming Night
The Trinity Bible College Volleyball team took the sweep this Friday against Free Lutheran Bible College on their homecoming night. The team finished with a 3-0 lead with scores 25-23, 25-23, and 25-13. The team played outstanding and continued to push through all the way to the end to take the win. Not only was the team on fire, but so was the crowd. The gym was filled with excitement and they were the team's 7th man.
The team's offensive attacks were the best it has been all season. The team was led by the outside hitters, Morgan Carlson and Marlyssa Ledgerwood, with 10 kills each. Coming in close second was Abigail Molan and Paige Flores with 6.
Not only was the offensive team on a roll, but so was the defense. The libero, Rachel de Campos, managed to have 9 digs and Abigail Molan with 7. The teams serving kept the opponent on their toes with 33 aces coming their way.
Overall, the Trinity Lions played well and as a unit. The coaches, SaraLi Twigg and Hailee Boorman, are proud of their performance and for their continuous hard work.
The Lions next match is Thursday, October 5th against Williston State at 5:30pm during the event College Days!
