
Lady Lions Show Grit in Triangular Matches on Oct. 7
In an exciting triangular on October 7th, the Trinity Bible College Lady Lions demonstrated their tenacity and skill on the volleyball court, facing off against Rainy River Community College and Oak Hills Christian College.
Despite a valiant effort, the Lady Lions faced a tough challenge in Rainy River Community College, ultimately conceding the match in four sets. There was intensity on the court, with both teams battling fiercely for every point.
Leading the charge for Trinity Bible College, Abigail Molan delivered an outstanding performance, recording an impressive 11 kills. Morgan Carlson also made her presence felt with 6 kills. On the defensive end, Rachel De Campos exhibited her skills with 17 digs, while Morgan Carlson demonstrated her versatility with 13 digs.
Determined to bounce back, the Lady Lions entered the second match against Oak Hills Christian College with much focus. The team's coordination and strategic play were evident as they dominated the court, clinching the match in three sets.
Abigail Molan once again shone brightly with 8 kills and Marlyssa Ledgerwood joined the ranks with an impressive 8 kills of her own. On the defensive front, Rachel De Campos continued to demonstrate her excellence, tallying 14 digs, while Layce Kooima showcased with 8 digs.
The Lady Lions' remarkable performance in these matches is a testament to their dedication and teamwork. The Lady Lions will be traveling to Kansas City on October 12th to face opponents Kansas City Christian College, Barclay College, and Spurgeon College.
