Newman Named NCCAA Student-Athlete of the Week for a 3rd Time

Senior Jaylen Newman had another huge week for Trinity Bible College as she averaged a double-double over 4 games last week as the Lions went 1-3. The Velva, North Dakota native averaged 27.3 points, 11.5 rebounds, and 3.5 blocks per game. Newman led the Lions to a 56-53 win over Rhema Bible College at the Randall University Basketball Classic as she scored 23 points and grabbed 18 rebounds. In a 70-67 loss to Manhattan Christian College, Newman went for 29 points, 16 rebounds, 5 blocks, and 3 assists.
