Lions MBB Beats Welch College to Advance to ACCA National Championship Game

Men’s Basketball Results Trinity Bible College Lions @ ACCA National Tournament Semi-Final March 3rd =, 2017 (Ozark Christian College, Joplin, MO) SCORE #3 Trinity Bible College Lions defeated #7 Welch College Flames 95-87.

HOW IT HAPPENED 

It was back and forth for the Lions and Flames in the first half, with 2 ties and 8 lead changes.

However, the Lions behind some hot shooting were able to grab the lead for good and a one point the Lions made 7 straight 3 pointers.

The Lions were able to us a 14 to 6 run to end the 1st half and take a 12 point lead into halftime.

The Lions took a 52 to 40 lead into halftime.

The 2nd half saw the Lions continued to control the game as their lead would grow to as much as 16 points.

The Flames did not give up and were able to cut into the Lions lead but it was too little too late as the Lions held on to advance to their 1st ACCA National Championship Game.

The Lions beat the Flames 95 to 87.
