Lions Football Hires Dusty Hess as Assistant Coach
We are pleased to announce Dusty Hess as the new Assistant Football Coach for the Trinity Bible College Lions. Coach Hess is a Trinity Alumni from the class of 2008. Hess graduated with a B.A. in Ministerial Studies and Biblical Studies. Since his time at Trinity, Coach Hess has worked as a Youth and Associate Pastor and most recently as the Lead Pastor at the Lighthouse Assembly of God Church in Harbor Beach, Michigan. Along with this, he has been a high school varsity football coach since 2009. Coach Hess brings with him his wife of 10 years, Elise, and their two sons Joel (4) and Micah (11 months).
"My family and I are really excited to be back at Trinity Bible College and Graduate School," said Coach Hess, "I am very thankful and grateful for Athletic Director, Jordan Nowell, and Head Coach, Eric Slivoskey, for giving me this opportunity to do something that I love, coach football. We are looking forward to connecting with the Trinity family in the next few weeks and months. Trinity is a special place. God used this place to shape me into the person I am today. I'm excited to get to work and watch God do what He does best, call and equip people to do what He created them to do."
Athletic Director Nowell stated, "I couldn't be more excited to add Coach Hess! He will bring another pastoral voice to the staff. I've known Coach Hess for quite a while, so I know exactly the type of worker, person and football mind we have hired. I believe that he will help Coach Slivoskey tremendously and will help build the football team into a consistent winner that cultivates men of God to be used within communities across this nation and the world."
