Bradley and Marengo Attend Combine
Bradley and Marengo attended a combine in Mayville, North Dakota to show their talents in front of NFL scouts.
On Wednesday April 11th, TBC football players Landen Bradley and Zach Marengo traveled to Mayville, North Dakota to participate in a 'Rising Senior Day' showcase in front of NFL scouts from the Minnesota Vikings and Kansas City Chiefs. Bradley is a junior RB/CB from Powhatan, Virginia and Marengo is a junior TE/LB from Grand Junction, Colorado. Both TBC athletes went through an interview process where they answered a variety of questions, were timed in the 40 yard dash, and then finished the day up with the Wonderlic Test. The Wonderlic measures cognitive functioning and problem solving abilities.
The venue provided a tremendous opportunity for Landen and Zach to get on the radar of NFL teams as they head into their senior seasons at Trinity. Despite the challenging testing conditions of the running surface and cold temperatures in the Kim-Braaten Arena, both Landen and Zach pushed through the adversity and gave it their best effort. Trinity assistant football coach Dusty Hess and Head Coach Eric Slivoskey accompanied the athletes to Mayville for the testing. Slivoskey commented, "this was a great opportunity for these two young men to show what they're capable of. This invitation also proves that athletes from smaller schools can get noticed too. If you perform at a high level, pro teams will find you no matter where you are. I'm really proud of both of them, and I can't wait to see what they will accomplish during their senior seasons.
