Lions Football Signs Nick Howser
Trinity Bible College football coaches announced today that Nick Howser, from Fort Ashby, WV, has signed a letter of intent to attend Trinity and be a part of the Lions football team.
Howser graduated in 2015, where his high school team ended their season as runner-up state champions. After high school Howser attended Junior College. While attending TBC, Nick hopes to pursue his dream job of becoming a football coach and plans to get bachelors degree in Exercise Science and a minor in Athletic Coaching.
Howser will look to play on both offense and special teams. As a kicker Howser went 8 of 10 on field goals, his longest being 37 yards, and made 36 of 48 pats 8 of which were blocked. On the defensive end of the field Howser forced 3 fumbles one of which was brought back for a TD. He intercepted the ball 4 times, had 9 sacks, and a total of 33 tackles 7 for loss of yards.
"Nick is a hard worker both on the field and in the classroom," said head football coach Eric Slivoskey. "He represents the type of student-athlete we are aiming to recruit at Trinity." Slivoskey is excited to welcome Nick to the Lions football team in 2018.
