Record Breaking Season for Lions Football

End of season report Landen Bradley breaks six school records and ties one David Steeves ties one

This season has had its ups and downs, but the Lions were able to end the year on an extremely strong point winning their last game on Senior Day 37 to 14 vs. Finlandia University. Despite being low in numbers this year the Lions showed an enormous amount of heart and were able to make a strong end of the year push coming out on top in their last two out of three games.

The Lions produced some promising performances this season, with close encounters against several teams. Unfortunately, the results didn't always follow. However, the Lions were able to overcome countless obstacles while demonstrating a never give up attitude that drew the players not only closer as a team for the end of this season but the seasons to come as well.

When asked about the year Head Coach Eric Slivoskey had this to say, "It was a nice feeling to get the win and close out the 2017 season in a positive manner. I am very happy that we could send our seniors out with a victory. They have all contributed so much to the TBC football program over the course of their careers. The coaching staff hopes to build on the momentum from the way we competed and performed down the stretch this season. We can use these experiences to help build a successful off-season program, and also to recruit future student-athletes into the program. I'm very optimistic about this team as I look towards 2018!"

Hard work and determination helped build this team and with that the Lions were able to tie two and break six individual school records: Landen Bradley tied one and broke six/David Steeves breaks two.
