Lions Volleyball Sign Jocelyn Steffensen for the 2023-2024 Athletic Season
Lions Athletics is proud to announce the signing of Jocelyn Steffensen for the 2023-2024 volleyball season! Steffensen is returning to Trinity Bible College and Graduate School after being a part of our Pack Your Bags program and will pursue a degree in Elementary Education!
Steffensen is a 5'7" setter who is originally from Badger, South Dakota and attended Lake Preston High school. While at Lake Preston, she was a part of National Honor Society for 3 years, she was a Volleyball Captain, as well as her high school Valedictorian. Steffensen will fit right in with the team and will add such a competitive spirit!
Coach Twigg has this to say about Steffensen, "When I first met Jocelyn over a year ago, I immediately knew she was an athlete that we wanted on our team. Her natural calmness and confidence brings such a peaceful leadership that any team would be blessed to have. She is a hard worker, talented athlete, and has such a genuine heart for others. It has been so special to have her a part of Trinity Bible College through the Pack Your Bags program this last year, and we are so excited to officially welcome her to the volleyball team!"
"God called me to do Pack Your Bags in 2021, and after completing that program, I am continuing my studies at Trinity to further my ministry. Through my first year here, I have grown immensely. Trinity is such an amazing place to continue growing with and for God" shares Steffensen on her decision on Trinity Bible College and Graduate School.
