Paige Flores Commits to Lions Volleyball Team for the 2023-2024 Athletic Season
The Lions volleyball team is proud to announce the signing of Paige Flores for the 2023 athletic season. Flores is a 5'9" middle blocker who is coming to us from Laramie, WY. When she arrives, she will be majoring in Business Administration.
At her high school, Flores was varsity volleyball captain, senior class president, was a part of FCA, and was on the principal's honor roll. Flores is such a light and she is going to help the Lions volleyball team shine on the court.
Coach SaraLi Twigg had this to say about Flores, "We couldn't be happier welcoming Paige to the team for this coming season! Ever since I first connected with her, I could sense her contagious joy. I knew we wanted that here! She is an exceptional athlete who will fill a very needed position on the team. Not only do I admire her skill, I also love the encouraging leadership mentality that she will bring. She is a very special individual, and we are so blessed to be part of her next season of life."
Flores also shares why Trinity is the place for her, "I knew I would like Trinity the moment I saw it, but by the end of our trip I loved every piece of it. I've never met so many nice and welcoming people, everyone was so willing to help. The teachers and staff made me feel so comfortable. I was super nervous to practice with the volleyball team but the moment we started the scrimmage, I knew I wanted to be a part of that team. I hadn't had that much fun on the court in such a long time! I was super excited when I was accepted at Trinity and asked to sign with Coach SaraLi. I believe the choice to attend Trinity is going to make 'little me' proud - a true dream come true."
