Lions Volleyball Sign Emoni Holmes for the 2023 Season
The Lions volleyball team is excited to share the signing of Emoni Holmes for the 2023 volleyball season. Holmes is a 5'7" defensive specialist and is making her way from Wadena, MN. Holmes is going to be a great addition to the team and the coaches cannot wait to see her move on the court.
Holmes was on her high school honor roll and is a disciplined academic student athlete that will benefit her at Trinity Bible College and Graduate School.
Coach SaraLi Twigg shares, "We are so excited to welcome Emoni to the volleyball team! She exemplifies all the characteristics we hope for in a Lion's student-athlete - a passion for Christ, discipline, and a love for others. I know she will have such a positive impact on our program during her years as a Lion. We can't wait to welcome her in the Fall and look forward to seeing all that God has in store for her at TBC."
Holmes shares her decision on why she chose Trinity, "I chose Trinity because it suits me best! It fits all that I'm looking for, and I'm ready to explore and grow in my relationship with God while also furthering my education! I feel that God has called me to Trinity. Growing up, I saw all of these big colleges and was in awe, but God said, 'no, Trinity is where you need to be'. I'm so excited to see how God will work through me this volleyball season. And I'm so glad to be able to work with Coach SaraLi."
