
Coach Jordan Nowell Earns 200th Career Win
On Friday, February 5th, Coach Jordan Nowell reached an incredible milestone in his coaching career by earning his 200th career win. The Lions defeated Regional opponent Oak Hills Christian College, 101-69, on their home court.
After graduating from Trinity Bible College, Jordan Nowell took over as the men's head basketball coach in January of 2007. Since then, Coach Nowell has developed a program that has brought great pride to Trinity Bible College and Graduate School. He has created an atmosphere where athletes can come to improve their athletic abilities as well as their character. Coach Nowell's passion for both the game and his athletes is evident through the way he runs this holistic and successful program.
During his time as the head coach, Coach Nowell has led his team to four NIAC Conference Tournament Championships, a North Regional Championship, and an NCCAA National Tournament appearance. Coach Nowell has also been named the Coach of the Year four times for the NIAC Conference and three times for the NCCAA North Region.
When asked about this great accomplishment, Coach Nowell responded, "Reaching 200 career wins is a humbling milestone to accomplish. I truly have been blessed by some great teams and great people. I have created so many great memories over the last 14 years. I am excited to see what this team can still accomplish this year and what new basketball players God will bring over the next years to come. I enjoy what I do, and I love that I get to do it at Trinity Bible College and Graduate School!"
Coach Nowell's current standing record is 201-238, with several games left in the current season.
