Lions Basketball Sign Tashar McCray for the 2023-2024 Athletic Season

Lions Athletics is excited to announce the signing of Tashar McCray for the 2023-2024 basketball season. McCray is making his way to Trinity Bible College and Graduate School from Elizabeth City, North Carolina and will be joining the team as a combo guard. 

McCray previously attended Emmaus Bible College and was a part of winning the 2021 Regional Championship. "The reason I chose Trinity is because I wanted to continue to pursue a Christ centered education, as well as play for a respectable basketball program. I also felt like I needed a new start and Trinity took me with open arms" said McCray about his transfer decision.

Coach Nowell had this to say about McCray, "I've enjoyed my time getting to know Tashar!  He's an easy going, and easy to talk to individual.  He loves basketball and I am looking forward to what he can add to this team in the fall.  He will add some experience and a hard-working determination to the team.  I am excited to see how Tashar does this season!
