Damon Duran Jr Commits to Lions Soccer for the 2023-2024 Athletic Season

The Lions soccer team is excited to announce the signing of Damon Duran Jr. for the 2023 athletic season. Duran Jr. is a 5'11" striker/midfielder who will be majoring in Business Administration. 

The Duran family was originally from Springfield, MO but they moved to Ellendale this past year to join the Trinity community. Duran Jr. was first chair in the high school band and his favorite Bible verse is Matthew 25:21.

Coach Hawker had this to say about Duran, "Damon Duran Jr. joins us from Ellendale Public School. He will feature both in the midfield and as a forward this coming fall. He adds athleticism to our midfield and the ability to beat a defender one v one. We are excited about what he brings to the squad as we build towards the season."

Duran Jr. quotes, "My family was called to Trinity, and I feel I'm called to do something special at Trinity, so I will be faithful to what he calls me to."
