Lions MXC at Herb Blakely Invite

The Lions Women's Cross Country team sent four runners to the Herb Blakely Invite at Dakota State University this past weekend. Freshman Chloe Thurber posted the fastest time for the Lions 22:09 finishing in 22^nd place. Sophomore Rachel Church missed qualifying for the NCCAA National Meet by just two seconds with a time of 24:30.  Senior Rachel Seidel finished with a time of 25:03 and freshman runner Arianna Bigart finished with a time of 26:59.

The Lions Men's Cross Country team sent a full team of five runners to the Herb Blakely Invite at Dakota State University this past weekend. The Lions finished with a team total of 3:16:00. Freshman runner Kaleb Renfro finished in 21^st with a time of 33:41 which qualified him for the NCCAA Nationals meet in November. Sophomore Sam Jacob finished with a time of 34:40, just 40 seconds from qualifying, while freshman Sam Maruszewski ran a time of 41:25. Freshman runner Michael Waldner finished with a time of 42:07 and Freshman Marcus Staley finished with a time of 44:07.

NOTES                                     
- Chloe Thurber's time of 22:09 is her second fastest time of the season, both times were fast enough to qualify her for the NCCAA National Meet.
- Kaleb Renfro time of 33:41 qualified him for the NCCAA Nationals meet in November.

-Rachel Church was just 2 seconds off the qualifying time for NCCAA Nationals.
