Honoring Lions Football Seniors 2017
The seniors this year have stuck it out through the hardships and the triumphs, most of them for four years, and for this we would like to recognize them for their positive attitudes and relentlessness in bringing Trinity Football where it is today. Thank You!!
Austin Morris #8- Returned to Trinity this year to finish his degree and football career after working in the financial services industry in Florida over the past several years. Austin is an Exercise major. When not on the football field, Austin can usually be found reading, drinking coffee, or traveling the globe. After graduation, Austin would like to become a strength coach at a Division 1 college. His favorite football memory is winning an overtime playoff game earlier in his career.
Zachary Stemen #34 - Joined the TBC football team for his inaugural season in 2017. A talented addition to the squad, Zach also plays for our men's basketball team. Outside of football, Zach enjoys cooking. Zach is a Business major and he plans to attend culinary school after graduation. His favorite football memory is getting within an inch of the goal line while running a dive play versus Haywood College.
Anthony Red Cloud #53- Is a four year veteran on the TBC offensive line. He also handles some of the kicking duties. Cloud is a Business major and after graduation, he wants to coach football. Known for his engaging sense of humor, Cloud likes to keep everybody laughing during practices and TBC road trips. Anthony's greatest TBC football memory is watching Tanner Twigg break the all-time receiving record at TBC.
Jacob Perales #61 -Team captain has been a consistent and versatile player on the TBC Oline over the course of the past 4 seasons. His soft spoken nature and steady presence will always be cherished by his teammates and coaches. An Exercise Science major, Jacob plans to do missions work in Asia after graduation. His favorite TBC memory is the fun he experienced while being a part of a large class as a freshman football player.
Nate Coffman #68- Team captain has anchored the TBC offensive line over the past four years, showing great leadership both on and off the field. Nate is a Biblical studies major. After graduation, he plans to go home to California and work in the ministry field with his dad. His greatest TBC football memory is helping lead a 350 yard rushing effort versus Morthland College during the 2016 season.
Colten Hoots #73- Joined the Lions as a transfer from Western State in Colorado. Colten is a strong team leader and a serious student of the game. An Exercise science major, Colten plans to go to chiropractic college and coach football after graduation. Colten's favorite memories are the road trips, especially the Haywood trip.
Hans Rechsteiner #65- Is our most seasoned player on the field today. Hans has attended TBC to realize a lifelong dream of playing college football at the age of 65. A business major at Trinity, and a surgeon by trade, Hans' plans after football are to perform gall bladder surgery on a patient Tuesday morning. His favorite football memory is catching a tipped ball while playing wide receiver on the scout team, and taking it to the house.
