5 Lions Football Players Named to All-NCCAA Team
Congratulations to Lions Football players David Steeves (DL), Jeremy Hill (RB), Nate Coffman (OL), Clint Stout (LB), & Jaquan McCorkle (LB) on being named to the 2016 All - NCCAA Team! David Steeves was the lone Lion named to the 1st Team, he had 53 total tackles, 5.5 sacks, 12.5 tackles for loss, 1 forced fumble and 1 fumble recovery. Jeremy Hill racked up 1079 total rushing yards with 8 touchdowns. He averaged 98 yards per game and 5.6 yards per rush. Nate Coffman has been a consistent lineman for the Lions, he started all 11 games. Senior Clint Stout had another stellar year for the Lions defense. He led the Lions and the entire NCCAA in total tackles with 143. He also had 8.5 tackles for loss, 2 sacks, 4 interceptions, 4 fumble recoveries and 3 forced fumbles. Jaquan McCorkle was the Lions 2nd leading tackler with 72 total tackles, 17.5 tackles for loss, 2 sacks, 1 fumble recovery and 1 blocked kick for the Lions defense.
