Greenville, SC: The NCCAA is pleased to recognize Khalil Bolden of Trinity Bible College as the 2022 Pete Maravich Award recipient for Division II Men's Basketball.
Khalil Bolden is a leader on his team both on and off the court. This year, Bolden led the nation with 5.3 assists per game, was tied at No. 7 for steals per game with 2.1, and was No. 8 for assist/turnover ratio. The junior also helps lead a weekly student led worship night and preaches at his home church whenever he is there on school breaks. In the classroom, Bolden holds a 3.59 GPA while studying exercise science and Biblical studies and has been named an NCCAA Scholar-Athlete.
Head Coach Jordan Nowell said, "Khalil is a great leader who is rock solid in his faith. His Christian walk is special and shows his team the way in which a leader can live his life."
