Lions Win 2nd Straight

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Lions took the lead after a 7 play 53 yard drive, where Michael Cade-Carter scored a touchdown on a 2 yard run. The Lions went for 2 and failed.
The Lions led after the 1st quarter 6 to 0.
The 2nd quarter saw the Lions score touchdown on another long drive. The Lions used an 11 play 76 yard drive taking 5:18 off the clock, scoring on a Jeremy Hill 5 yard run. It was Hills 1st of 3 touchdowns for the day.
Lions took a 12 to 0 halftime lead.
The second half saw the momentum swing back and forth as the Lions would score 1st on an 11 yard quarterback keeper by freshman Robert O'Neil. The 2 point conversion try was again unsuccessful.
The Sabercats would add back to back touchdowns to cut the Lions lead to 18 to 14 heading into the 4th. The Sabercats scored on a 21 yard touchdown pass and a 13 yard touchdown run.
The Lions would seal the game behind 2 more touchdown runs in the 4th quarter by Jeremy Hill. Hill had a 34 yard touchdown run and a 6 yard touchdown run.
Senior Clint Stout would put the exclamation mark on the win as he intercepted his 3rd pass and the Lions were able to kneel and run out the clock for the 2nd straight week.
The Lions won 33 to 14 over the Sabercats.

- Clint Stout led the Lions with 17 tackles and 3 interceptions for a new single game record for the Lions. (Previous record was 2 interceptions for a player in a game)
- Jaquan McCorkle pitched in 9 total tackles for the Lions with 3.5 tackles for loss.
