Bio

Coach Jordan Nowell graduated from Trinity Bible College in 2007 with a degree in Elementary Education and Biblical Studies after playing four years for the Lions basketball team .  He received his master’s degree in Secondary Education – Sports Administration from East Central University in Ada, OK in 2013.  Coach Nowell was part of the 2005-2006 NCCAA Regional Championship team and was named NCCAA first team All-Region and NIAC Conference Player of the Year.  He was an Academic All-American as well. 

This is his 17^th season as head coach and has been named NCCAA National Coach of the Year (2021), NIAC Conference Coach of the Year six times (2008, 2009, 2010, 2012, 2017, 2023) and NCCAA Region Coach of the Year four times (2012, 2014, 2017, 2021). 

 Coach Nowell has been married to Rachael Nowell for 15 years and has four kids, Jalen (9 y/o), Kyler (7 y/o), Kaylee (5 y/o) and Joree (2 y/o).  Along with coaching, he also teaches as a faculty member in the Education Department.
