Lions MBB Falls to Mayville State

HOW IT HAPPENED 

The Comets jumped out to an early 11 to 0 lead to start the game in the 1^st 3 minutes.

The Lions would battle to keep the game close and found themselves down 15 to 7, but that is as close as it would get the rest of the game.

The Comets jumped out with a 16-0 run at the end of the first half keeping the Lions scoreless for 7 minutes of play.

The Comets led at halftime 36 to 15.

The Lions tried to keep it close in the 2^nd half bringing the score under 20 points away, but the Comets were extremely aggressive on both ends of the floor, keeping the game out of reach for the Lions.

The Lions fell to the Comets 78 to 35.
