The Eagles had a busy "Feast Week" with four games in just a few days, starting with an exciting one-point win over Union Adventist University. Following that, they hosted Maranatha Baptist University, Kuyper College, and Trinity Bible College, wrapping up the week with a 2-2 record.
The first game was against Maranatha Baptist University, where the Eagles started strong, taking an early 11-4 lead. However, the Sabercats responded and eventually took the lead, going into halftime with a 42-37 advantage. In the second half, Faith struggled to regain momentum. Although the Eagles cut the lead to one on a few occasions, Maranatha continued to respond with key buckets, eventually securing an 82-73 victory. Josh Baucum led the Eagles with 27 points, while Mason Gorsh and Andy Hecker added 13 and 12 points, respectively.
The following day, the Eagles faced Kuyper College, who had defeated them twice last season. Despite keeping the game close, trailing by just five with under six minutes left, the Eagles were overwhelmed by an 18-4 run from the Cougars, losing 92-73.
The Eagles then faced Trinity Bible College, needing a bounce-back performance. Despite a few struggles, the Eagles played well overall, dominating the boards with a 47-31 rebound advantage. They also limited Trinity's top scorers to under 20 points each. Mason Gorsh led the team with 22 points, including five three-pointers, while Baucum and Hecker added 14 and 11 points, respectively. Team play was key, as the Eagles tallied 22 assists and played with high energy on defense.
After the Thanksgiving break, the Eagles will resume their season with conference games on December 6th and 7th at Manhattan Christian College. They'll face Barclay College and host Manhattan Christian College. Faith is 5-3 overall entering conference play.
