Emma Logan Named NCCAA 3rd Team All-American
Sophomore Emma Logan named NCCAA 3rd Team All-American, for her first year as a Lion.
Sophomore Emma Logan capped off her first season as a Lion receiving national honors from the NCCAA.
Emma Logan was named NCCAA 3rd Team All-American. The NCCAA only selects five players per team. Emma averaged 23.4 points per game, which was 1st in the NCCAA. She also averaged 10 rebounds per game (5th in the NCCAA), 5.3 assists per game (2nd in the NCCAA), and 3.1 steals per game (4th in the NCCAA). She was also 2nd in the NCCAA for Free Throw percentage at 78.5%. Emma finished her sophomore season with 561 points. She broke the single game assist recorded for the Lady Lions with 12 assists on January 17, 2018 vs. Cankdeska Cikana Community College. The previous record held by Janae Stemen (Droste) with 10 assists January 12, 2016 vs. Presentation College. Emma was also named NCCAA Student-Athlete of the Week once this past fall.
