Lions Defeat Rams in Minneapolis
Women’s Basketball Results Trinity Bible College Lions at North Central University November 19th, 2016 (North Central University, Minneapolis, MN) SCORE Trinity Bible College defeated North Central University 70-60.
HOW IT HAPPENED
The Lions got out to a fast start in the 1st quarter behind a monster quarter by Jaylen Newman who scored 17 points.
The Lions led 24-15 at the end of the 1st quarter.
The Lions continued to build on their lead as they outscored the Rams 16 to 13 in the 2nd quarter.
The Lions led at halftime 40 to 18.
The 3rd quarter mirrored the 2nd quarter as the Lions added to their lead by outscoring the Rams 16 to 13 again.
The Rams would battle back to within 4 points but the Lions were able to hold them off with the help of back to back layups by Lakota Loomis and a pair of free throws by Jaylen Newman.
The Lions held on to beat the Rams 70 to 60.
