The Lions Women's Cross Country team sent 3 runners to the NCCAA National Cross Country Championships held at Belhaven University in Jackson, MS this past weekend. Harlie Sorrell, Emily Aguirre and Charitie Sandoz, it was each of their 1st appearances at Nationals. There were 43 total runners in the Women's Championship race. Harlie Sorrell ran a 21:49 for 20th place, while Emily Aguirre ran a 26:13 for 42nd and Charitie Sandoz ran 26:17 for 43rd.
The Lions Men's Cross Country team sent 2 runners to the NCCAA National Cross Country Championships Forrest Skinner and Sam Jacob. There were 50 runners total in the Men's Championship race. Forrest Skinner ran a time of 30:22 which he finished 18th and Sam Jacob ran 33:14 which was 41st.

- Harlie Sorrell's time of 21:49 is the fastest time by a Lion's Women's runner at a National Championship race.
- Sam Jacob ran a personal best time improve his by 30 seconds to 33:14.
-Both Charitie Sandoz and Emily Aguirre improved their personal best times of the season.
