Lions Receive ACCA Honors

Senior Korey Harris was named to the ACCA 2nd Team All-American this year. Harris averaged 13.8 points per game. He also averaged 6.6 rebounds per game, 5.0 assists per game, and 1.8 steals per game. Harris finished his career at Trinity with a total of 470 points and 212 assists over a 2 year time period. 

Sophomore Emma Logan was named ACCA 1st Team All-American. ACCA women's basketball only selects five players per team. Emma averaged 23.4 points per game. She also averaged 10 rebounds per game, 5.3 assists per game, and 3.1 steals per game. Emma finished her sophomore season with 561 points.  She broke the single game assist recorded for the Lady Lions with 12 assists on January 17, 2018 vs. Cankdeska Cikana Community College.  The previous record held by Janae Stemen (Droste) with 10 assists January 12, 2016 vs. Presentation College. 

Sophomore Shaylyn Steinheuser was named to the ACCA 2nd Team All-American this year. Steinheuser averaged 19.4 points per game. She also averaged 7.2 rebounds per game, 2.3 assists per game, and 1.9 steals per game. Steinheuser finishes her second season at Trinity with a total of 827 points and 410 rebounds. Steinheuser broke the single season offensive rebounding record for women's basketball her freshman year.
