HOW IT HAPPENED
Feb. 19th -
It was a back and forth game for the first 20 minutes in this game.
The Lions kept the lead for most of the 1st half but they could not get any distance between them and the Wolf Pack
The Lions went into halftime up 36 to 30.
The 2nd half was all Lions as they stepped up their defensive pressure and were finally able to build a big lead over the Wolf Pack.
The Lions held the Wolf Pack to just 15 2nd half points in route to a 29 point win.
The Lions beat the Wolf Pack 74 to 45 to advance to the NIAC Conference Championship Game.
Feb. 20th –
The Lions were looking for their 3rd straight NIAC Conference Championship as they had their 3rd game this year against TMCC this time for the conference championship.
The Lions and TMCC went back and forth for the whole first half with the Lions scoring just before halftime to take a 1 point lead into the break.
The Lions went into halftime up 39 to 38.
TMCC came out of halftime on fire and were able to take the lead and grab control in the 2nd half.
The Lions tried to mount a comeback but were unable to overcome the 18 point lead TMCC built and lost by 10 points.
The Lions fell to TMCC 80 to 70.

- The Lions shot 46 percent from the field (29/63), 28 percent on 3's (9/32) and 87 percent on FT's (7/8).
- The Wolf Pack shot 25 percent from the field (18/71), 30 percent on 3's (6/20) and 100 percent on FT's (3/3).
-The Lions had 3 players in double figures led by Jaden Shockley who had a season high 22 points on 6 for 12 on 3's.
-Aaron Stemen added a double double with 19 points and 11 rebounds, while Friscoe Erdahl pitched in 12 points and 7 rebounds.
-The Lions had 10 offensive rebounds and out rebounded the Wolf Pack 41 to 31.

- The Lions shot 33 percent from the field (27/81), 17 percent on 3's (5/29) and 47 percent on FT's (11/23).
- TMCC shot 42 percent from the field (33/77), 33 percent on 3's (9/27) and 62 percent on FT's (5/8).
-The Lions had 2 players in double figures led by Frsicoe Erdahl who had 25 points and 6 rebounds. Aaron Stemen added a double double with 14 points and 12 rebounds.
-Friscoe Erdahl scored his 1000th career point in the game. He is the 20th Lions Basketball player to score 1000 career points.
-The Lions had 23 offensive rebounds.
