Lions Win Big for Homecoming

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Lions would score first after a fumbled punt by Finlandia, the Lions only needed 2 plays to score from 12 yards away on a Landen Bradley 8 yard run. The 2 point conversion was good on a Michael Cade-Carter run.
The Lions led after the 1st quarter 8 to 0.
The 2nd quarter started with another Lions touchdown on a 14 yard run by Jeremy Hill. The Lions went for the 2 point try again and were successful.
Finlandia answered back scoring 14 unanswered points on 2 touchdowns to end the 1st half. The 1st came on a halfback option pass from 54 yards. The 2nd Finlandia touchdown came on a 16 yard pass from Yearby to Kangas.
The Lions took a 16 to 14 halftime lead.
The second half started with a big defensive play by the Lions as they caused a Finlandia fumble and Jaquan McCorkle scooped up the fumble and returned it 51 yards for the Lions touchdown.
Finlandia scored again to get close to the Lions on another halfback option pass, cutting the Lions lead to 24 to 20 at the end of the 3rd quarter.
The Lions would add two more touchdowns to put the game away on a 3 yard run by M.J. Ybarra and then on a 5 yard run by Michael Cade-Carter.
The Lions won 36 to 20 over Finlandia.
