Garner Gauthier Signs to Men's Soccer!

Gillette, WY — Garner Gauthier has officially committed to continue his athletic and academic journey at Trinity Bible College in Ellendale, North Dakota, where he will join the Lions men's soccer team as a center back.

Gauthier was a part of the Trinity's first soccer team back in 2022. Now he is returning to Trinity ready to make a big impact both on and off the field! Standing at 6'1, Gauthier has been a strong presence in the back line. Known for his composure, strength, and defensive awareness, he has anchored the team's defense with determination and consistency throughout his soccer career.

Gauthier has a strong work ethic and great character. His commitment reflects not only his passion for soccer but also his desire to grow in faith and pursue higher education.

When asked why he would be returning to Trinity, he said, "I chose Trinity Bible College to seek God and a higher education. It's a place where I can develop spiritually, academically, and as a soccer player."

In the words of head Coach Daniel Hawker, "I am thrilled to welcome Garner back to our program for the upcoming season! Garner made a huge impact for us as we launched the program in the fall of 2022, and we're excited to have his high-level soccer IQ, composure on the ball, and strong work ethic back in the mix. A standout in high school and a natural leader on the field, Garner also brings a special connection to the team - joining his brother, Gunnar Gauthier, who currently plays for us. The Gauthier duo will be fun to watch this season!"
