Lady Lions Season Recap
Lady Lions grow throughout the season
For the Lady Lions this was a tale of two seasons, with roster turnover and youth being prominent throughout the whole season. The Ladies found themselves coming into their own as the season was winding down, winning four out of their last six games. The Ladies finished the season with a record of 8-16, including wins against defending NIAC champions Sisseton Wahpeton. The Ladies also found themselves playing for a conference championship as well as they pulled off back to back upsets, and one of them being against the number one seeded team Canadian Mennonite University. The Lady Lions have no seniors on the roster so the future is looking very bright for Coach Nowell's squad as they finished with an 8-7 record against NIAC teams including playoff games.
