Coach Petersen was pleased with the effort this weekend, "I am so proud of how the Lady Lions performed this weekend! Our first game against Faith Baptist was a little slow, as were developing our team chemistry on the court. However, I was impressed at how quickly the team improved in tempo and skill during the next three games. The ladies maintained discipline and determined attitudes throughout the weekend to bring home the first win of the season!"
The Lions will be at home on September 5th, in an exhibition game against Presentation College.
